If you are interested in talking to me, I am interested in talking to you.

Your correspondence is not a burden or a bother. The opposite, actually:

• This website and its content would not exist were it not for a series of conversations that I have had and continue to have with thoughtful contemplatives. This writing is at its most alive, most interconnected when it is a direct response to another.
• My most original and valuable thinking and reflection result from corresponding with others—that is, you. Your e-mails are an irreplaceable fount of entropy, nudging this mind toward discoveries it would have otherwise forever overlooked: doomed to loop through the same thoughts, stuck in a habitual, monstrous plateau.
• Existence is viscerally lighter & more free when shared with good company, not an easy thing to find for the contemplation-inclined—it's tough to meet people when your primary interests include vows of silence!
